"John Hayden Busch has amazing composition and an instinctual understanding of light. Aside from his technical acumen, it is difficult to categorize John Busch as a specific type of photographer: he is as adept at intense landscape photography as he is a creating sincere and soulful portraits, as comfortable shooting in Rwanda as he is in his native Las Vegas.

I hope you enjoy the following selection of photographs as much as I do. As a film technician the level of craft awes me. As a viewer, the evocative nature of his portraiture, the range and depth of his landscapes, and the humor and beauty of his wildlife pictures astonish me. In this age of fast and cheap digital photography, it is reassuring to know that some photographers still embrace traditional processes... the ethereal chemistry and precise timing.
